Dahle

Dahle is one of the other well-known German manufacturers and brands of paper shredder worldwide.  Dahle is named after the original founder of the company, Wilhelm Dahle, who started a business in 1930 manufacturing parts for pencil sharpeners.  Dahle developed an innovative sharpening system and became number one for pencil sharpeners in the 1960's.  Dahle then also began to produce scissors and shears plus rotary trimmers and paper guillotines. Dahle have since added the manufacture of a quality range of paper shredders for practically every possible application.  Dahle today are known as DAHLE Burotechnik GmbH.  Dahle are located in Coburg, Germany, with a manufacturing plant in Rodental, also in Germany.  Dahle operate a 10,000 square metre plant using a modern assembly line. 

Dahle

also manufacture laminators, binding machines and presentation products.  Dahle shredders are manufactured mainly in Germany with some smaller domestic / small office / home office machines being manufactured in China.

today  is wholly owned by Erwin MullerandGmbH with 190 employees.  The present company was founded in January 2002.
